Mayo Clinic Study -
Medical Marijuana for Cancer
Let your voice be heard!
As many of you already know, Medical Marijuana can be a powerful medication used to ameliorate the effects of cancer treatment. Pain, weight loss, depression, insomnia, nausea, are just of few of the reasons patients with cancer use Medical Marijuana.
Last year, I began collaborating with colleagues and friends of mine at Mayo Clinic, collecting and analyzing the data we were seeing. The result is this study that Mayo Clinic has agreed to fund. Finally, the ones that matter most will now be heard. Research is what guides a doctor’s decision and influences policy. If you have cancer and have used Medical Marijuana, we would like to hear from you.
This is an initial pilot study designed to capture data that could potentially influence the way medical marijuana doctors treat patients with cancer. It’s a short, simple questionnaire that is offered at no cost and is available to anyone, regardless of where they are being treated. We understand that this can be a very difficult time for patients, and we thank you in advance for your time and participation.
Sincerely,
